Nature dead but standing I

Nature dead but standing I

These trees located in the Namib-Naukluft National Park in Namibia have been dead for hundreds of years. Even some of them, apparently, are more than 600 years dead and are still standing because the environment is so dry that they do not rot.

In love with what my eyes saw and immersed in what is known as the oldest desert in the world, I could realize that even in death there is beauty.

A place that lends itself to reflection on that transformation that we call “life” and that we call “death”, since it makes us wonder whether or not we are leading a meaningful life.
