Stairs to heaven

Stairs to heaven

Ever since I learned of the existence of this tower, I had been fascinated by its design and the architectural and engineering responses that resulted from Taiwan's need to build, at that time, the tallest tower in the world in a seismic area.

From below, it gives you the feeling that you are in front of a great glass staircase that takes you to heaven, and if you go far enough, you have the opportunity to appreciate it almost without competition, on the part of other buildings that try to downplay it in area.

This situation is likely to change in the coming years due to the size of Taiwan's economy, which will possibly drive the construction of other skyscrapers in the vicinity of Taipei 101.
