The cost of freedom
I never knew the name of the person in my photograph, who in the distance, I observed almost daily with his dog walking on the beach.
From Coffee Bay in South Africa, a remote place that borders on the mystical, not only for its exuberant nature, but also for its people, I wanted to take this photograph in which, in a certain way, I saw myself reflected.
The cost of freedom is often loneliness, abandoning the herd in search of being intimately, marveling at creation.
