This photograph was taken in Iceland a few meters from a place known for its hot springs. What you see is water, mud and stones.
 
The turquoise water coming from the hot spring is always hot, regardless of the seasons and the temperature of the environment. On the other hand, the whitish mud at the bottom of the water, which in turn adheres to the rocks, is the same mud with which, inside the hot springs, people place themselves on their faces due to its properties.
