The song of your conscience

The song of your conscience

I took this photograph in the south of the African continent on a tour that ended up lasting six months, and the truth is that I have always found the relationship between the Buphagidae and herbivores fascinating.

A perfect symbiotic relationship starring the tireless and persistent Buphagidae, in which if you stare long enough, it is even comical to see how these little birds interact with each other and with the rest of the animals.

At times it gave me the feeling that they were simply rebels without a cause, badly behaved, that they did not care about body space and that they are simply there to make life impossible for their four-legged friends who have to deal with their euphoric singing and incessant pecking.

No one can be saved from the Buphagidae. It does not matter if you are a rhinoceros, a hippopotamus, a giraffe or a simple antelope, that what you want is to drink water in peace, since in the blink of an eye, they will end up on your forehead as if it were the song of your conscience.
